  1. I am resentful that Kanbal somehow keeps getting short shrift in the map department. T__T

    1. Sorry. I don't draw 'em, I just translate 'em XD And there's not really a ton in Kanbal: one big city and regional towns for each clan.

    2. Kanbal is mostly empty space isn't it?

Kind of like Canada in the real world where the bulk of the population is compressed into an area maybe two or three times the size of Japan while the rest of the country is mostly uninhabited.

And, uh, are the Rotans and Kanbalese technically the indigenous people of their specific regions or they did they also migrate alongside the Yogoese? I've always found it odd there was apparently perfectly fertile land just south of Kanbal that they never thought to colonize until it was already taken by the Yogoese settlers.

    3. Not to butt in, but...the Yakoo were there. The Yogoese immigrants displaced the natives, obviously. And there's strong Yakoo racism in New Yogo society, especially in the upper echelons. I suspect the Tal people were the indigenous people in Rota and that people from Kanbal came over the mountains and foothills to the north and settled there. It would explain why Kanbalese and Rotan are mutually intelligible languages.
