Words can’t express how relieved I felt when Balsa and Chagum were finally reunited. I’ve written about these characters for more than ten years; they’re part of me now, though of course they aren’t exactly like me. They’ve spent a lot of time apart in this series, but when they were finally reunited, it was like no time had passed at all.
I’ve been planning for Chagum to go to Rota since Traveler of the Blue Road, but the story of Balsa and Chagum traveling to Kanbal and seeing Balsa’s homeland had to come first. In the next and last volume, Balsa and Chagum will reunite again in New Yogo. I hope you continue to follow them on their journey.
