ReplyDeleteThe first series is completely translated and has a wonderful ending. I'd recommend the whole thing, though book 5 (Princess Tamayori) is rough for self-evident reasons; it was the first novel the author ever completed, and it shows.
DeleteI am almost done with the first two books of the second series, which are closely connected (just editing them now). The second series is grimmer and ruins the happy ending of the first series, so be prepared... it's tonally very different, though the mysteries are still good.
